How Does God's Word Grow?

...in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls.  James 1:21b (Amp)
In the scripture above, implanted literally means engrafted – when something foreign becomes a part of whatever it is grafted onto.
Strong’s Concordance describes engrafted as: to swell up; to germinate or grow (sprout, produce), literally or figuratively, to spring up!
It is therefore important that you spend time in God’s Word until it is engrafted in your heart, so that it can spring to life, take root and grow. You can do this by transforming your thinking by renewing your mind with the truth of what God’s Word says until that truth springs up and becomes more real to you than what the natural circumstances are saying.
Initially, for many the natural circumstances may appear more real and powerful than the truth in God’s Word, but be encouraged because the natural report doesn’t need to be our final report!
Let God’s Word be your final authority!
