Ps 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, & he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
The Hebrew for wait is Qavah & means: to wait or look eagerly for, to hope, to expect.
But being New Covenant believers we don't wait passively for God to do something for us. No! Instead we act on what He HAS ALREADY DONE through His son. And this is why we can now EXPECT it to come to pass!
